Brian R. Holmes is a personal injury attorney for Tom McGrath's Motorcycle Law Group in the Columbia, South Carolina office. He focuses primarily on civil plaintiff's law and personal injury matters and has dedicated his career to representing injured motorcycle riders, motorists, and their families. He takes great pride in assisting his clients and helping them to navigate our complex legal system in their greatest times of need.
Brian is a graduate of the University of South Carolina where he received a Bachelor of Arts in History, the College of Charleston where he received a Masters in Business Administration, and the Charleston School of Law where he received a Juris Doctorate. Brian began working in the legal field as a paralegal for former South Carolina Congressman and current South Carolina House of Representatives Reading Clerk J. L. Mann Cromer, Jr. During his time in law school, Brian served as a Research Editor and Articles Editor for the Charleston Law Review, the Charleston School of Law Student Bar Association Elections Committee Chair, and was a member of numerous organizations including the Charleston School of Law Business Law Society and the Charleston School of Law Intellectual Property Law Society.
Shortly after graduating from law school, Brian began practicing in Charleston, South Carolina where he learned the intricacies of personal injury law. He relocated to Columbia, South Carolina in 2017 and joined Tom McGrath's Motorcycle Law group in 2023. Brian lives with his beautiful wife, Ashley, as well as his two pet dogs, bearded dragon, and hedgehog. He enjoys music, movies, traveling, and is an avid fan of the Carolina Gamecocks and New Orleans Saints. He also enjoys hopping on a bike and receiving (what his father-in-law calls) his "regular wind therapy."
