Giving Back to Those Who Ride
Our team is proud to support causes close to the motorcycling community. We work to educate lawmakers on causes that impact riders, and we put a part of our attorney fees into motorcycle rights through our legislative efforts. Outside of our offices, we educate lawmakers on causes that impact riders. We fight against unfair legislation that negatively impacts motorcycling, and we work with legislators to enact laws that protect the rights and safety of all riders. Personal injury lawyers at the Motorcycle Law Group routinely provide riders, as well as riding clubs and organizations with free legal advice, and in many circumstances offer legal representation at little or no cost. We also regularly donate to charitable causes close to the motorcycling community.
Here’s a limited sampling of some of our work in the states that we serve:
Virginia
When motorcyclists were originally prohibited from using High Occupancy Vehicle lanes, we fought to open them up. Now motorcycles are treated as high occupancy vehicles and may freely use the HOV lanes.
We successfully fought for increased revenue for, and access to, motorcycle training. We removed the prohibition against two motorcycles occupying the same lane. And much more. Get to know our work with the Virginia Coalition of Motorcyclists (VCOM) and our fight for the protections of the right to ride.
